This seems like the perfect blend of fashion and animation, so Mayka and I both got a kick out of this. The drawings are terrific and some are reminiscent of Golden Age illustrations. They appear in the latest issue of Elle Spain and feature a variety of fashion designers as Disney Characters. From the site:

Designers featured are Karl Lagerfeld as Big Bad Wolf, Marc Jacobs as Donald Duck, Dolce & Gabbana as Goofy and Mickey Mouse, Donatella Versace as Daisy Duck, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Alber Elbaz and Sonia Nathalie Rykiel. Do you think the illustrations by Ulrich Schröder represent the designers?

I think so, and quite well. I was not familiar with Schröder’s work, but a little digging revealed:

Born in Aachen, began his career as a commercial artist, doing among others ‘Quicky’, an advertising comic for Nesquick. He is a freelancer for Disney since 1989, and has done mainly merchandising artwork and covers for the Dutch Donald Duck weekly. For years, he was the art supervisor for Disney in Paris, where he coordinated the artwork for merchandising and promotional materials.
